Every morning, I love to start my day off strong with a delicious protein smoothie to get all the nutrients and vitamins I need that will help me get through my busy mornings. Being a health conscious person and caring for my family, this high protein smoothie recipe is my favorite because it is quick to make and has a low calorie content. You can also change the fruit as you prefer, for example, I like to switch the blueberries for raspberries to jazz it up!

 

Ingredients (approx. 4 servings):

2 scoops of whey protein powder

3-4 strawberries (large)

1/4 cup of blueberries

1/2 cup of ice

1/2 cup of plain yogurt

1/2 banana

1 cup of milk

 

Preparation:

  1. Hull the strawberries.
  2. Mix all ingredients in a blender.
  3. Enjoy!
