The Dairy Processors Association of Canada (DPAC) welcomes Amalgamated Dairies Limited as its newest member.

Amalgamated Dairies Limited (ADL) was created in 1953 and today is owned by 100% of PEI dairy producers. It employs 350 staff in five locations across PEI and is the largest cheese manufacturer and most diverse dairy in Atlantic Canada, producing over 25 varieties of cheese and cheddar products, as well as butter, milk, ice cream, evaporated milk and sweetened condensed milk.

DPAC is the national industry association representing the public policy and regulatory interests of the Canadian dairy processing industry. DPAC works with its members to provide the leadership and expertise needed to create a thriving Canadian dairy industry that is sustainable and focused on the needs of Canadian consumers. DPAC welcomes the additional perspectives that ADL will be able to provide to its work, especially with regard to the needs of Atlantic Canada’s dairy processors.
