Rawesome Dairy won his case against the City of Montreal when the City of Montreal decided to consent to the acquittal of Rawesome Dairy. Rawesome Dairy’s attorney declared following the verdict:
“This is a decision that sets a precedent,[…] Nobody has a monopoly on the word cheese and as long as you’re extremely clear and precise with the fact that it’s non-dairy cheese, you are basically respecting the regulations.”
