On January 20, DPAC hosted a webinar with Professor Marina von Keyserlingk, NSERC Industrial Research Chair in Dairy Cattle Welfare and Professor of Animal Welfare at the University of British Columbia, to provide insights on consumer perceptions on animal welfare and the role that processors can play in shaping policies and programs related to animal welfare.
As part of the webinar, DPAC’s Senior Director of Policy and Regulatory Affairs, Marie Ly, also provided proposed updates to the NFACC Code of Practice for Dairy Cattle which will be finalized later this year. Interested but unable to attend? Watch the video recording below:
